Tinkerbell Dome

These Tinkerbell domes will be ready for use following a small amount of filler and painting. This will allow you to be able to finish your Tinkerbell without the awkward trouble of having to produce the dome with its shape on your own. This will be a much faster way of protecting the surroundings of the safety valves and the whistle. Also these domes are guaranteed to be correct and will not come with the dents or imperfections in the forming, that may come with a homemade example. This allows for a low effort solution to the issue of having to produce one from scratch. 

 

Intended uses:

These domes are ideal for use on most Tinkerbell locomotives in 7 1/4" gauge. This provides a more efficient approach to creating a tinkerbell from scratch. We can also supply these for other locomotives upon request - please contact us with your requirements.

 

Production:

These are built by a skilled railway engineer that has produced many domes for standard gauge locomotives including the one present on "Tornado".  These are handmade by Nick who has also produced our Norfolk Tinman range. 

The domes are produced from British made steel and are very strong, so will be ready to provide a highly durable dome that will look perfect on your locomotive for many years to come. Alternatively on request, we will be able to produce polished brass examples that can be used straight away without the requirement for any filler or paint.
