These signs have been made using an original as a guide, with the font and dimensions very carefully recreated to give an accurate version of the original.

Prototypical of the speed signs used by LNER and later BR, these signs were a common feature across the network in the UK. Originally the signs were flame cut using a template hence there were quite a lot of very subtle variations. These signs have been made using an original as a guide, with the font and dimensions very carefully recreated to give an accurate version of the original. The signs bolt on to our 0.65m posts and are supplied either un-painted or painted. Direction arrows simply bolt on using pre-drilled holes in the post.
Various numbers available including; 5, 10, 15, 25, 40, 100 & 125. Decimal variants also available, i.e. '2.5' as opposed to 25.

The signs are designed and manufactured in the UK these are based on the original LNER design that was typical throughout much of the UK under BR.

The sign can either be supplied painted or unpainted and it is your responsibility as the installer/user to maintain its condition and ensure it is safely secured. The signs could cause significant damage (i.e. a derailment if they fell onto the track) and hence should be periodically checked for safety.
