Originally the signs were flame cut using a template hence there were quite a lot of very subtle variations. These signs have been made using an original as a guide, with the font and dimensions very carefully recreated to give an accurate version of the original.

Prototypical of the speed signs used by LNER and later BR, these signs were a common feature across the network in the UK. Originally the signs were flame cut using a template hence there were quite a lot of very subtle variations. These signs have been made using an original as a guide, with the font and dimensions very carefully recreated to give an accurate version of the original. The signs bolt on to our 2.5m posts and are supplied either un-painted or painted. Direction arrows simply bolt on using pre-drilled holes in the post.
