Bilt Hamber Dynax UB

Bilt Hamber Dynax UB is a high-performance anti-corrosion wax that provides exceptionally long-lasting protection to steel surfaces. Dynax UB has been tried and tested by MRW, recommended after years of use for protecting steel surfaces, especially cavities, from the elements. With the extra-long injection lance only available from MRW, Dynax UB is an excellent treatment for Jubilee track that may be left down for weeks or months on end on a semi-permanent basis.

 

Jubilee Track is loved and highly rated by so many of our customers and has become the industry benchmark for portable miniature railway track. Its ease of use, easy to understand system and variety of trackwork options make it an excellent choice for temporary garden railways, all the way up to month-long commercial events for taking hundreds of passengers a day. Whilst our track is robust and highly durable, with no known failures other than misuse, we realise that for some operators, the steel construction means that the track might not be as long-lived as it has the potential to be.

 

In instances where the track is being laid outdoors for long periods, either for festive events, summer parties and anything in between, the track has the potential to suffer corrosion from the elements. Untreated, the track lasts better than you might expect, however for some, protection is a highly desirable prospect. This is where Dynax UB comes in. We have used Bilt Hamber products personally for over 5 years personally on our vehicles and can attest to the excellent anti-corrosion properties it offers.

 

To address the problems of corrosion especially internally, MRW have developed a special extra-long injection lance based on the standard Built Hamber offering. The lance is a highly effective tool that allows the internal coating of cavities for protection of metalwork both outside and in. The MRW lance features a 360 degree spray pattern, and is put together to ensure the entirety of the inside of the rail is coated with UB. We also recommend spraying the outer surfaces with UB to preserve them against daily corrosion, but a wipe over with a solvent and cloth will be required at the point where wheels sit on the railhead.
