Monitoring your Wheel Scotch

The product is regarded as maintenance free, however care must be taken to ensure the gauge locating tabs do not become bent or misaligned from heavy handling and transportation. Failure to do so can result in poor fitment between the rails. The operator should check the side plates for straightness before use to ensure they will sit flat on the rail head. Bent or damaged endplates have the potential to reduce friction and cause the locomotive and stock to not be held in place.

Transportation & Storage of your Wheel Scotch

When transporting your Wheel Scotch, ensure care is taken to not stack heavy objects on the product. The design is robust, however consider disassembly to avoid bending the handle should it be transported with heavy objects. Miniature Railway Workshop Ltd accepts no liablility for accidental damage and misuse of the product. The product should be stored in a dry environment as excessive moisture has the ability to cause corrosion.
