The "Project Loco 2" is a small 7¼” gauge sit behind locomotive, ideal for all miniature railway use. Powered by a 1HP electric motor with two high discharge batteries. Regenerative braking features in the handset and there is provision for a horn but this has not been fitted (as standard with these locos)
This loco is powerful enough to pull 8-10 passengers and keep performing all day on one battery charge. It will negotiate very tight radii down to 10ft.
For easy transport the batteries are removable and the loco then becomes a two person lift.
The Bonnet and cab roof are held on with velcro and this works well in practice.
