Safe Use
Items can be used with 7 1/4, 5, 3 1/2 gauges - Consideration should be given to the expected load on the item; heavy locos may be unsuitable for 16mm aluminium rail and sleepers must be used in greater number per metre compared to steel rail of comparable dimensions.
The responsibility for safe installation and operation is down to the user/installer/owner. It is the operators responsibility to ensure the day-to-day safety of the railway. For more information about this please consult the HS2020 guidelines from the Passenger Carrying Miniature Railway Safety Group (PCMRSG), make sure you consult their website yourself, so for the latest version go to:- www.pcmrsg.org
